British doomsters ORANGE GOBLIN have issued the following update:

"It has now been revealed that the new ORANGE GOBLIN album, 'Healing Through Fire', will be released through Sanctuary Records in the U.K. and [rest of] Europe on Monday, May 21st, and in the U.S. and the rest of the world on Tuesday, June 26th. The album will initially be released as a CD with a bonus DVD featuring live footage from the band's headline show at London's Mean Fiddler in December 2006."

The full track listing for the DVD is as follows:

01. Some You Win, Some You Lose
02. Quincy The Pigboy
03. Getting High On The Bad Times
04. The Ballad Of Solomon Eagle
05. Hot Magic, Red Planet
06. Round Up The Horses
07. They Come Back (Harvest Of Skulls)
08. Your World Will Hate This
09. Blue Snow
10. Scorpionica

The DVD also features interviews with the band and previously unseen studio footage.

ORANGE GOBLIN recently posted a new track, entitled "Hounds Ditch", on their MySpace page. The song comes off "Healing Through Fire" (artwork),which was recorded at Fortress Studios in London with producer Mark Daghorn. The final track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. The Ballad Of Solomon Eagle
02. Vagrant Stomp
03. The Ale House Braves
04. Cities Of Frost
05. Hot Knives and Open Sores
06. Hounds Ditch
07. Mortlake (Dead Water)
08. They Come Back (Harvest Of Skulls)
09. Beginners Guide To Suicide

According to the band, the record is definitely a progression from 2004's "Thieving from the House of God" and is based on its local history. Vocalist Ben Ward states that "it's not a concept album at all but we are using the theme of the Great Plague of London and the Great Fire that followed for a lot of lyrical and musical influence. It's definitely the strongest material we have written."

ORANGE GOBLIN recently announced that it will be playing its first-ever show on Polish soil on Saturday, June 2. The concert will take place at the Firlej Club in Wroclaw, Poland. Support will come from Polish band CORRUPTION.
